Feel free to text us at anytime of the day/night. We will get back to you as soon as we can.

General phone calls can be made between 09:00-18:00.

In case of an emergency(personal, lates, cancellations, etc.) please call us whenever needed.

NOTIFICATIONS

Our system is very good at keeping us up to date. It can tell us who has not paid, who was late, who has missing fields in their profile, what your past roles & work dates were, who is unavailable, who hasn’t worked in awhile, how many jobs each talent has had, and more. New features are added on an ongoing basis to ensure we have an up-to-date, seamless system that covers everyone at every angle.

AVAILABILITY

Please do not send your weekly/daily availability to our email/phone. A link will be sent to you with your special SCT #. This link will allow you to submit your availability as often as you want and up to 7 days in advance. Please note, you DO NOT have to submit availability at all if you don't want to. Our system is designed to keep everyone’s profile in front of our face on a consistent basis and it will let us know if you haven’t worked in awhile so that you don’t have to. :)

ORDERS

Always answer our work day requests! Available or not.

If you are answering our request last minute, please still let us know if you ARE AVAILABLE. Sometimes replacements or extra BG are needed last minute and it is good to know that you could fill production's need for BG.

BOOKED & NOT BOOKED

If you were booked for a role you will get a confirmation email saying you are BOOKED. Please always reply to let us know you got/saw the email.

On the other hand, we understand that no one wants to wait around anticipating if they got the role or not. If you said you are available but did not get the role, we will let you know so you are not waiting around.

When we ask your availability please allow us AT LEAST 2 hours to get back to you whether it’s waiting for choices/approval from casting or if we have multiple orders going at the same time, we need time to organize and sort through emails.

But always remember, if you do not get a “YOU ARE BOOKED” email, that means you are NOT BOOKED.

CALL TIMES

Once you get your call time the night before your work day please READ IN FULL & confirm you’ve read and understood call time, location, and wardrobe notes by replying “CONFIRMED”.

Please DO NOT contact us to find out your Call Time. We will send it to you as soon as we get it from production, usually before 11pm, or we will send out an update that says when call times are expected to come in.

If you do not receive any word by 11:30pm please give us a call or email.

NOT USED

Please let us know if you do not travel to set (from BG Holding) at all during your work day because that would mean you were "NOT USED" on camera and can be booked again as a different role on a different day.

CANCELLATIONS

Due to the busy season and high volume of BG who cancel less than 8 hours before your call time…

Cancelling 8hrs or less before your call time will be charged as a NO-SHOW fee unless significant proof or doctor’s note is provided.

PHOTOS

Absolutely NO photos can be taken on set. Everyone working on set has signed a NDA (Non Disclosure Agreement) which is legally binding. Photos of your wardrobe or friends in BG Holding is allowed but CANNOT be posted on Social Media until that specific episode or movie airs to the public. We are looking out for your welfare as BG have been sued for these acts before and we don't want that to be you.

UPDATES

You can update your Address, Appearance, Union Status, Vehicle, Submit your weekly Availability as often as you want, and add NEW Photos, all on MySCTPortal

Please send all other updates to management@showcatcher.ca.

COMMISSIONS

ALL ACTRA Members please send your work-day VOUCHER and PAY STUBS to accounting@showcatcher.ca. They MUST be Full size and CLEAR to read.

If it is your first time paying commission or if you are not confident calculating the commission on your own please send us your vouchers and pay stubs so we can tell you how much you owe along with a small breakdown.

Please remember: We ALWAYS calculate commission off of the SUB TOTAL Gross Pay shown on the pay stub attached to the cheque.

NON-UNION/AABP, 10% + tax
ACTRA, 10% + tax
APPRENTICE, 10% + tax
SENIORS DISCOUNT (60+ years old), 8% + tax

It is MANDATORY all NON-UNION/AABP cheques are filled out like below to ensure our accounting team can take care of your pay.

PRINTED DOCUMENTS

If you would like printed copies of your Health & Safety; photocopies of your T4, Utility Bill, or Driver’s License; or paper copies of any other on-set documents, please let us know.

We are happy to print and mail anything for you at $0.10 per page and $2-5 for mailing directly to your door. Prices may vary depending on what you need.

This is for anyone who wants door service, has no printer, or has no spare time.

PASSWORDS

The password for your sections of the website is “mysct”.

All pages catered to our roster will be in the footer menu (at the bottom of our website).

The password for any and all e-transfers will/must be "sctabg".
